Klarquist Recognized in 2026 IAM Patent 1000 with Top Ranking in Oregon
IAM Patent 1000 has once again recognized Klarquist as the only Gold-tier patent firm in Oregon, with additional national recognition in the Silver band for patent litigation.
IAM Patent highlights Klarquist’s “rare blend of technical fluency, trial strength, and long-range strategic judgment,” noting the firm’s ability to develop patent portfolios and litigation strategies that stand up to scrutiny while supporting clients’ competitive advantage. The Oregon team also earned strong recognition for its work in non-contentious patent matters.
Sixteen attorneys were individually acknowledged for their leadership and contributions across patent prosecution and litigation:
- Mike Girard, Sheree Rybak, Greg Scott, Mark Wilson, and Brandon Johnson were recognized for delivering strategically aligned IP counsel.
- Johanna Schwartz was highlighted as a “go-to patent prosecutor,” bringing technical precision and commercial insight to prosecution strategy.
- Kyle Rinehart was noted for his work in U.S. and international patent drafting and prosecution, particularly in advanced technologies.
- Robert Scotti was recognized for bridging prosecution and litigation, advising major clients on portfolio strategy and risk.
- On the litigation side, John Vandenberg and Andy Mason—both nationally renowned—were highlighted alongside Sarah Jelsema and Todd Siegel for their successful representation of Motorola before the Federal Circuit.
- Additional litigators Jeffrey Love, Kristin Cleveland, Chris Carraway, and Scott Davis were recognized for their deep experience and strong client advocacy in high-stakes patent disputes.
