Ziyu’s practice primarily focuses on intellectual property litigation. She has also been actively engaged in Klarquist’s prosecution teams, contributing to both domestic and international patent counseling.
Ziyu has a diverse and extensive background in intellectual property law, working with clients of all sizes and across a broad spectrum of technologies. Her work at Klarquist spans pharmaceuticals, biotechnologies, microorganisms, aviation fuel, green technology and renewable energy, food processing technologies, animal science, agricultural equipment, dietary supplements, batteries, software, and medical devices.
During her time in law school, Ziyu served as the managing editor for the IP Theory Journal and as the law school practice group advisor. She honed her legal research and writing skills through participation in moot court and patent competitions. Additionally, she actively contributed to student groups, including the Intellectual Property Association and the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
Before law school, Ziyu worked as a management trainee and research intern for a company specializing in animal nutrition, digestive additives, antibiotic alternatives, and toxin binders. Her research experience involved embryology, molecular biology, microorganisms, and gastrointestinal health.
Ziyu joined Klarquist as a summer associate in 2020 and as an associate in 2021.
