Klarquist Welcomes New Managing Partner in 2024
Klarquist is pleased to announce partner Sue Graf as the firm’s new managing partner.
Sue transitioned into the role of managing partner effective January 2024. Sue is an experienced prosecutor with more than 16 years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications, in addition to over 10 years of research experience at some of the leading life sciences research institutions in the U.S. She specializes in biotechnical and medical patent applications, including medical genetics, immunology, oncology, biochemistry, and plant biology. Sue joined the firm’s partnership in 2018 . She earned her J.D. from Lewis & Clark College of Law, her Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Duke University, and a B.A. in Biology from The College of Wooster. Outside of work, Sue enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, especially at the Oregon Coast, as well as making music and reading murder mysteries.
