Klarquist Hosts EDAC Emerging Companies Patent Panel
On October 29, 2015, Klarquist co-sponsored a panel discussion on patents and patent litigation, in the first of EDAC’s new legal series. Klarquist litigator Salumeh Loesch moderated the panel, and John Vandenberg provided guidance on how to efficiently manage patent litigation. Other speakers included Sam Liccardo, Mayor of San Jose, and John Cabeca, director of the Silicon Valley Regional Office of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. You can watch the discussion here.
EDAC is a consortium of companies developing electronic design automation (EDA) tools and services, critical technology used to create today’s electronics. EDAC consists primarily of younger, start-up companies emerging in the EDA industry. Klarquist has experience representing EDA companies, and recently represented Mentor Graphics in a case brought by Synopsys.
