Klarquist seeks a litigation associate with 4-6 years of experience representing clients in district court cases, ITC proceedings, or arbitration involving patents or trade secrets. Other relevant experience includes work on IPRs or other post-grant patent proceedings .
Candidates should have excellent academic credentials (top one-third of class preferred; top 10% strongly preferred) and demonstrated strengths in legal research, writing, and advocacy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
A technical background, active patent bar registration, and judicial clerkship experience (particularly at the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals) are highly valued.
The position is based in our Portland, Oregon office, with flexible hybrid work arrangements. Qualified candidates will either have an established presence in the Portland area or strong ties to the region and genuine desire to build a long-term practice in the Pacific Northwest.
