Rebecca’s practice focuses primarily on preparing and prosecuting U.S., foreign, and international patent applications. Her practice also includes performing patentability and prior art searches and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Rebecca specializes in various technologies including medical devices, image processing for medical technologies, automotive systems and controls, driveline disconnects, mechanical devices, mobile applications, consumer products, and lighting systems. Her prosecution experience includes drafting Office action responses, declarations, appeal briefs, and reply briefs, as well as conducting examiner interviews.
Rebecca’s research experience includes computational fluid mechanics modelling, bench top modelling of fluid mechanical systems, and in vivo testing with Thoracic Artificial Lungs. With her experience in medical device design, manufacturing, and testing, she evaluated technical commercial potential of new inventions at the University of Michigan Office of Technology Transfer.
Rebecca joined Klarquist as a patent agent in 2019.
