Tucker’s practice encompasses patent and trade secret litigation, as well as patent portfolio counseling, including strategic claim drafting, infringement, validity, and freedom-to-operate analyses, and noninfringement opinions.
Drawing on his chemistry background, Tucker applies a rigorous, analytical approach to patent strategy, helping clients strengthen their IP portfolios and navigate intellectual property transactions. He has litigated cases in federal district courts and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), involving technologies such as integrated circuit design, power supply controllers, power monitoring, medical devices, genomics, geospatial visualization, and website navigation. Tucker has also successfully managed discovery, collaborated with technical experts, and achieved favorable outcomes through dispositive motions and jury verdicts.
