As a Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant, Valerie aids in the preparation, filing, and management of patent applications. Val assists attorneys throughout the patent prosecution process, which involves interacting with clients, conducting research, and preparing necessary documentation.

Prior to joining Klarquist, Val worked for another large Portland firm supporting real estate and environmental attorneys.

Val joined the firm as a Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant in 2001.
