As a Patent Prosecution Assistant, Ilka aids in the preparation, filing, and management of patent applications. She assists attorneys throughout the patent prosecution process, which involves interacting with clients, conducting research, and preparing necessary documentation.
Ilka joined the firm as a Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant in 2009. In 2013, Ilka had the opportunity to “retire” to the North Oregon Coast. Ilka rejoined the firm in 2023 as a remote employee. Ilka and her husband enjoy cooking gourmet meals. They have six wonderful grandkids and are the proud Pack Leaders of a 15-year-old Puggle named Stella and 3-year-old (crazy) French Bulldog named Gizmo.
