Debra is a patent agent in the firm’s Mechanical practice group where she prepares and prosecutes U.S. patent applications and assists with the preparation and prosecution of international and foreign patent applications.
Debra has an extensive background in patent research, having served as a patent search director and analyst prior to joining Klarquist. She has delivered patentability, invalidity, and infringement studies, specializing in the mechanical arts including mechanical and electromechanical devices, medical devices, manufacturing processes and equipment, and consumer products. Before working in patents, Debra was a mechanical engineer in the defense aerospace industry, focusing on thermal management for electronics and electronics packaging. She also served as a senior mechanical engineer in the field of consumer product development.
Debra joined Klarquist in 2023.
