The National Law Journal (NLJ) recognized Klarquist as the largest provider of legal services to the United States Government.

NLJ’s December 15, 2014 front page investigative report identified the top 20 law firms doing legal work for the federal government during the last fiscal year. Out of the 20 ranked firms, Klarquist is the only firm headquartered in the Pacific Northwest and is one of four ranked law firms specializing only in intellectual property law. Klarquist has helped these and other federal agencies obtain patents for government inventions since 1997. The firm’s NIH, CDC and VA work is managed by William D. Noonan, a partner at the firm who is both a physician and a patent attorney.
