Klarquist Launches America Invents Act Animation
Klarquist has released a short, two-minute animation video which visually illustrates some of the changes that will result from the America Invents Act (AIA). Our firm developed the video as a creative way to spread this important information to our contacts.
The AIA includes many significant changes to the U.S. patent system. Some of these changes have already taken effect, while others have delayed effective dates. On March 16, 2013, the U.S. will transition from a “first-to-invent” to a “first-to-file” patent system. In many cases, patent applications filed before this change will have advantages over patent applications filed after this change. Our video highlights this upcoming change.
