Rob’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, including actions for patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, and trade secret misappropriation. He has appeared in federal courts across the country, representing numerous industry-leading technology and retail companies in IP disputes. He has litigated cases in the fields of software and internet technology, mobile devices and applications, and consumer products. Rob has handled matters in jurisdictions across the country, and has appeared extensively in California and Texas.
Prior to joining Klarquist, Rob practiced appellate and IP litigation at a San Francisco firm, departing to Africa to participate in the United Nations’ International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, where he served as a law clerk.
Rob joined Klarquist in 2007 as a lateral associate and became partner in 2010.
