Since 1994, Mike has specialized in planning, preparing, and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications. Mike’s practice also includes patent infringement and validity analysis, trademark work, and design patent applications. He has litigation, licensing, and counseling experience.
Mike has worked with clients in many different technology areas, including computer and information systems, manufacturing, medical devices, transportation, agriculture and wood products, and consumer products, with an emphasis on the mechanical and system aspects in these areas. Mike has significant experience preparing and prosecuting software and device applications related to graphical user interface features, camera and sensor features, security and authentication features, mobile device features, and other hardware and device features. He also has an active design patent practice.
Mike joined Klarquist in 1998 as an associate and became partner in 2002.
